The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point developed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for here that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to enable the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
